Instead of a regular blog post, I am posting a presentation I did for the Green Good News YouTube channel where I talk about the benefits of home electrification. In regions like British Columbia that have a clean electrical grid, meeting GHG reduction targets will require that the majority of buildings convert their natural gas appliances (heating, cooking and DHW) to electric appliances. Other regions will need to both decarbonize their electric utilities and then transition to electric appliances.
